Khushi Kaur


UK born & bred female Punjabi vocalist


Born and raised in Nottingham, Khushi Kaur began singing at 11 when she started doing Kirtan at the Gurudwara. She developed a passion for Indian music and began taking professional singing lessons from her Ustaad, Roben Gill. After this, she also trained with the Shankar Mahadevan Academy, from which she learnt the core foundations of hindustani vocal music alongside the art of Raag.

Khushi's first stage performance was aged 12 when she performed at a Lohri event, raising funds for underprivileged girls in India.

In December 2021 she released her debut single Nainowale Ne, which is a cover of the popular song from the film Padmaavat. Her second single Boohe Diyan Kundiyan released on 24th June 2022, which is a cover of Miss Pooja’s song from 2011.
