Khushi Kaur

Khushi Kaur

Khushi Kaur, a UK-born Punjabi singer from Nottingham, is a rising force in the global Punjabi music scene. Rooted in Indian classical music, she began singing Kirtan at her local Gurudwara at 11 and later trained under Ustaad Roben Gill and at the Shankar Mahadevan Academy. Her journey started with covers like Nainowale Ne and Boohe Diyan Kundiyan, but it was Kokka - a collaboration with DJ Lyan and Juss Nandhra - that catapulted her onto the BBC Asian Network A-list and the Official Asian Music Chart.

Building on this momentum, Khushi released a 5-track EP with YXNG SXNGH, where Black and Copper became viral sensations worldwide. With a distinct blend of traditional and contemporary influences, she continues to push boundaries, collaborating with industry heavyweights and solidifying her place as a trailblazer for female representation in Punjabi music. With each release, Khushi Kaur is proving that she’s not just a singer—she’s a movement.
